Welcome Students and Families! 

I am the Technology Integration Specialist and teacher of Computer Science (Grades 3-5). Students will be using Scratch to learn Computer Science concepts. They will be writing code to create projects. They will also be using a variety of robots to extend their coding skills.

I am also the leader of the new Tech Squad (Genius Squad) which will provide services for teachers and students.

I am also teaching a Pre-Algebra Class to elementary students.  I have taught pre-algebra since 2011.

I started teaching in 2003 and I can not think of any job I would rather have. After I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato I moved to California to start my teaching career. I spent six years teaching math, science, and AVID at a middle school.  I started teaching Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 at Capitol Hill in 2011.  

A variety of hobbies keep me well rounded. I love crafting - crocheting, knitting, photography, cross-stitching, and making cards. I am also known for my love of frogs!  I also enjoying being outside and spending time at the lake.  I spent this summer working on projects around the house and hanging out with my family including our two dogs.  

I know we are going to have a great year!
