Lindsay Ballard
Welcome to Fourth Grade Capitol Hill!
I am looking forward to an exciting year! This is my eighth year teaching at Capitol Hill. I am looking forward to hands-on, creative, and collaborative experiences with fourth graders this year.
I grew up in Iowa City. I received a BA in Art History from the University of Iowa. I then spent time working on an archeological dig in Italy. After that, I moved to New York City and had a lot of fun working for Sesame Street and studying to become a teacher. I earned my master's degree in education from Hunter College.
I live in Minneapolis with my husband, Jay. In my free time, I like to be outside playing tennis, biking, and walking. I also enjoy yoga, cooking good meals, traveling, reading, listening to music, and gardening.
