4th Grade

Dear Students and Families,

Welcome back to school! We hope that you have had a great summer and that you are excited about returning to school. Our fourth-grade team is enthusiastically preparing an interesting and challenging year for your child.

Some of the more extensive units of study include:

• Learning about North American geography 
• Writing realistic fiction stories and research projects about North America
• Taking a Big River Journey down the mighty Mississippi River (if it is offered this year)
• Studying inventions and engineering
