Listed below you will find what each grade level
is learning in Performing Arts this year. Please note the dates that
your child has a performance. Only performances that haven’t been
scheduled yet are 3rd and 4th grade. That is because they will be
performing at school events such as Cougar Awards, African American
Parent Involvement Day, etc.
As last year, 5th - 6th graders
will be able to participate after-school in Capitol Hill's Performing
Arts Ensemble. Information and opportunities to be in this group will be given out the first week of school. This will also be available through Ms. Jenkins' section of the Capitol Hill website.
One more item to note, for those students going into 4th, 5th, or 6th grade that have not purchased a recorder yet will be able to do so this first week of school. Your student will be receiving an order form in class the first week of school. This form will also be available through Ms. Jenkins' section of the Capitol Hill website.
Have a great school year! Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions!
Sincerely, Wanda Jenkins 1st-6th Grade Performing Arts Capitol Hill GT Magnet wanda.jenkins@spps.org 651-325-2557
