Saint Paul Public Schools Wellness Policy (533.00) supports our students’ health by including more opportunities at school for physical activity and better nutrition. Research demonstrates that eating well and being physically active improves academic achievement. Our goal is to make the healthy choice the easy choice for our students.
"SPPS has made a commitment to the health of our students and staff. You can make a significant contribution to these efforts by making conscious decisions about what happens in your school and your classroom. Encourage healthy eating, reduce opportunities for "treats," and add movement into the school day.Our children and their families are counting on us to make a difference."
