Welcome to the 2016-2017 School Year!
As a parent or guardian of a Capitol Hill student, YOU are a member of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). That means, with your partnership, we can create a strong community supporting all of our students and teachers. PTO is a shared effort between parents, guardians, faculty, and staff at Capitol Hill Magnet School that supports our school with financial contributions and any number of volunteer efforts in the classroom and school-wide.
PTO VALUES STATEMENT: With students and teachers at the center of everything we do, we will support excellence and well-rounded programming that builds the academic achievement and community fabric of our school.
We support these values in two critical ways:
Our goal is to make fundraising simple, flexible, and budget friendly for all families. The more we are able to raise funds through direct donations, the fewer fundraiser events we must host; therefore freeing our time and efforts to support the school and students with more educational services and experiences.
