PUT ON THE SPOTLIGHT!
Eighth Grade Musical Production

Eighth Grade Musical Production - This is a semester long course in which students prepare and perform a major musical production.  Students learn about and are involved in all aspects of the production (set design,     stage crew, stage manager, choreographer, student director, actors, singers, dancers, costumes, props, accompanist).  Parent involvement is also greatly appreciated.  Evening performance(s) and some afterschool rehearsals will be required. This class has an application process that begins in the Spring of their 7th grade year.  Past show have been: Singin’ In The Rain (2008), Anything Goes(2007), South Pacific(2006), The Pajama Game(2005), The Boy Friend (2004), Into The Woods(2003), Guys and Dolls (2002), OKLAHOMA!  (2001), Pirates of Penzance (2000), Bye, Bye Birdie (1999), Once Upon A Mattress, (1998), You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (1997), Ducktails and Bobbysocks (1996)
