 | | Marti Starr, First Grade Teacher | | I am thrilled to be teaching first grade at Capitol Hill! I have also been a fifth grade teacher, as well as a Schoolwide Enrichment Model Specialist. I earned my Masters' Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Saint Thomas, where I have also participated in the Gifted Certificate Program. In addition to teaching, I enjoy training for, and participating in, triathlons, cooking, reading, walking my dog, and spending time with my family and friends.

Daily Schedule
All first grade children will be on this schedule daily. Should you need to find your child at a prticular time, feel free to reference this schedule. Breakfast is always served from 7:45-8:00 a.m.
Students go to specialists on a rotating basis. P.E./P.A. is every other day, with Technology and Art on the alternating days.

April - May Snack Schedule
We ask the first graders to bring in healthy snacks to share with the class unless its their special birthday treat day. It is very helpful when snacks are easy to distribute or already divided into portions. We have 23 children in our class. Thank you! |
