Welcome to 5th grade! My team and I anticipate an exciting year with all our new students. We've been working diligently on preparing the classrooms so everything will be in order and ready for the year to start in a positive direction.
Once again, we are fortunate to have highly recommended student teachers to work in our classrooms. Everyone benefits from this special interaction: students, teachers, and, or course, the student teachers.
I grew up in St. Paul and attended Longfellow Elementary and Central High School. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in education and received my Master's from St. Cloud University. This will be my 13th year at Capitol Hill and my 18th year in our school district. With this background, I feel very close to the educational programs Minnesota offers. I look forward to the goals and challenges presented at the beginning of each new school year and making learning as enticing as possible to promote life-long learners.
