2003-2004 Awards
Philosophy Slam - Anna Johnson took 2nd place in the nation (6th grade category) for her essay on this year's topic: Is world peace possible, or does human nature make war inevitable?  Another 6th grader, Emma Burgeson, finished 5th in the nation.

History Day - 22 Capitol Hill students went to the state level of the History Day competition. 

In the media documentary category:  Bess Stubenhaus, Claire Lenander, Mary Vang, Sai Vang, Janette Xiong

In the performance category: Berit Goetz, Tom Coben, Jonathan Shepard, Ricky Shih
